Add whooping cough to that, too. The local schools here had a measles outbreak a year or so ago because two sisters weren't vaccinated and came down with it. Lots of money and time were wasted trying to disinfect classrooms and there were lots of worried parents and teachers. This year they've had numerous cases of whooping cough. All pretty much due to the same cause.

I wonder how Obamacare will affect vaccination. If you are required to cover abortions as an employer, will you be required to vaccinate your kids?

But, but , but vaccines is a gubmint 'spiracy and made my kids 'tistic

Autism went from 1 in 2500 to 1 in 88 and even though the we're told the medical profession and the government does not know where it comes from, they are sure it is not a result of immunizations. The problem with that is all of the cases of older children becoming autistic after receiving immunizations.

Past & Present: Autism Prevalence Rate
1985: The prevalence of Autism is 1 in 2500 births
2000: Autism rates rise to 1 in 500
2004: 1 in 166 children are affected with Autism
2009: 1 in 91 births result in an Autism diagnosis
2012: 1 in 88 children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder by age eight
It is now 1 in less than 80

Here is a quote from the first linked article that does not think the topic is funny.

"Parents of now grown vaccine injured children, who warned pediatricians and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) officials in the 1980’s that their once healthy, bright children regressed mentally, emotionally and physically after reacting to DPT vaccine with fever, high pitched screaming (encephalitic cry), collapse/shock, and seizures, are grieving with a new generation of parents whose healthy, bright children suddenly regress after DPT/DTaP, MMR, hepatitis B, polio, Hib and chicken pox vaccinations. The refusal two decades ago by vaccine manufacturers, government health agencies and medical organizations to seriously investigate reports of vaccine-associated brain injury and immune system dysfunction, including autistic behaviors, is reaping tragic consequences today.
Now parents of old and young vaccine injured children in the U.S. and Europe are joining with enlightened doctors in a rejection of the unscientific a priori assumption that a child’s mental, physical and emotional regression after vaccination is only coincidentally but not causally related to the vaccines recently given."

Google, I have cough, what is my diagnosis? You have cancer...

Internet doctors are as annoying as internet ninjas and commandos. Google will provide anyone with material to support their position, no matter their position.
