This will have to get back on track soon. Seasonal temps should be very near. We are mid Feb. and it is supposed to be 30's by now with an occasional mid 40's teaser to wake up the plants.

once it starts warming up I see difficulty in my future getting in and out of the alley.

once that packed down snow melts... yuck

I had to put my Subaru in the shop for body work. The kamikaze deer have been bad this year, I have gotten three so far. Anyway, I borrowed my buddies S-10. I guess I am not used to rear wheel drive and no weight in the back. Oh well, unexpected day off as I had to get someone to be there at turnover time.

The driveway next door (my house and daughter lives there) has been widened into my front yard. We did this when I still lived there and my good friend lived here in this house. That was 1990 or so. We have put several loads of gravel in and it still gets gooey when snow like this thaws out.

You got more by accident than a lot of the licensed hunters.....:)

Ya, I have had to change my route to work. I had never hit a deer until this year but they seem to be very suicidal for some reason.

RWD and no weight is no good.

city graded and put a fresh layer of junk asphalt down early this past fall in the alley.

nice I'm not dodging potholes, but not sure how it will affect the slush that is soon to come
