Nice smokey and salty flavor with the sweet doughnuts.


I used to work at Emge packing in Ft Branch, IN. They had the best bacon. It was smoked with real hardwood. I know this because I ran the smokehouse.

I couldn't decide at first whether to start a new thread or resurrect an old thread, but since I just tried a maple bacon doughnut this old thread made sense.

Noblesville got a craft doughnut shop, and it is good! It's in the little strip mall at the corner of SR32 and Cumberland Rd. next to the Super China Buffet.

Duck Donuts in Knoxville, TN makes fried cake donuts right before your eyes. Huge selection of different toppings. BUT...They make maple-bacon topped donuts. Heaven on earth!
