    Boys and there toys...

Ok, time to show your snow removal stuff. If it's just a shovel, I feel for you! Been there done that!

    Here's mine:
I got this a couple years ago. It's a beauty! Troy Bilt 30 inch wide, two stage, electric start, electric powered chute, self propelled with heated hand grips! It makes moving snow a little (a lot) easier.

It's been really dependable so far. Only problem I have had was my only fault. I sucked up a branch a broke a few shear pins. It was a easy fix. I keep a half dozen around now. just in case.

    So what ya got!!

My tiny monster. Blew 10.5 inches of snow down to pavement off of three 50ft long twocar driveways and 450 ft of one lane of our road, on one tank of gas, when the county skipped our street during last year's big one.

It's a 2006 Toro CCR 2450 5.0 HP Briggs powered with electric start that we bought like-new from Goodwill mid-summer 2010 for $69. Just needed gas. :rockwoot:

We have a 15 year old and a 20" shovel, he's been at it all day. My Craftsman 30" is off limits for him. :abused:

I know the feeling. I let my 13 year old use the 30 inch and he promptly ran over something that broke the shear pins. It's by hand now for him.

See if I can get a pic later. Mine is a '71 Bolens lawn tractor, snow blower, mower, push blade, Roto tiller, and yard roller. Picked it up 2 years ago for $350

I have a 96 Honda 4 trax and want a plow for it but whoever owned it at sometime cut the tabs off to attach a plow tot the frame.... Bummer ! So now I want yours !!!

Make your own.. I did just 2 flat pieces of metal - "U" bolts and drilled holes where they needed to be. Takes about 2 minutes to put it on/take it off .

Don't think you'll need all that firepower in Alex. We took care of all ours in Elwood last yr with a John Deere 225 lawn tractor and a 48" blade. Plowed some of the county road in front of the house with it too. Keeps the county from refilling the driveway.
