We may sit here and focus on a religious freedom law at home... but elsewhere, those of the same religion are targeted, lined up, and executed for it.

Schools are a popular terrorist target. You may have heard of the Beslan school terrorist attack in 2004 that resulted in 385 Russian deaths. It is hard to terrorize a society more than by attacking their children.

Al-Shabaab did pretty much the same thing in the 1%er mall in the Nairobi, it just went on for 3 days. If this bunch joins with ISIS like Boko Haram everything north of the equator in Africa will be either ISIS or Ebola.

The warplanes had targeted two camps in the Gedo region, used by al-Shabab to cross into Kenya, the spokesman added.

Ok. One thing that irks me as much as news media getting firearm calibers/identification wrong is getting military aviation terms wrong. It is hard to imagine "fighter jets" doing any "bombing."

But, in this case, the famed MiG-28s from Top Gun are doing the bombing.

Which, actually, gets me a bit excited. For as extensive as that airframe was exported, it hasn't really seen much action.
