The IDS (IU's Student Newspaper) called me today and interviewed me!

The reason is that a month ago or so I set up the store that I work in to be a drop off location for the charity Cell Phones for Soldiers.

If you have not heard of them, they collect dead cell phones and trade them in for calling cards for overseas troops to call home with. The charity was started by a couple of kids and is sponsered by tons of companies including Sportsmans Guide where I got a mail in for them.

In any event, I got to talk to a nice young lady about doing what we can do to help our troops and that everyone who says they support the troops should put their money, or dead cell phones, where their mouth is, etc. I also pointed out that the process is a great form of recycling.

They say it will be published tomorrow or the next day and I guess we will find out what they did with what I said then... :n00b:

P.S. If you have relatives serving overseas, check out this charity and see if they can get your loved one some free call home time!
