So, I think some of you guys are risk takers. Thrill seekers, if you will.

But, does this extend to taking chances with . . . what you eat?

For instance, I once purchased a "Cornuporkia" sandwich at a deli in Crawfordsville that was at the time my favorite. It was essentially a cuban pork sandwich with pulled pork, black forest ham, swiss, mustard, mayo, and pickles. To this, I had them add bacon, thus making it the cornuporkia. So far, so good. No real risk there, right?

What if you bought it at lunch time on a Friday, but then found it on your couch under a stack of newspapers on Sunday afternoon?

Would you eat it? What if it were you most favorite thing of all?

Well, I did it. And I survived.

So fact forward to today. I didn't eat yesterday's turkey, swiss, and bacon sandwiches I prepared for my lunch. Naturally, there were not refrigerated from the time I removed them from the fridge to go to work on Tuesday until lunch time on Wednesday.

I'm now waiting for trouble to begin. I figured it was okay because of the protective layer of mayonnaise shielding the bread from the bacon and turkey, so I should be fine.

What is the worst thing that could happen? Some rapid weight loss? Meh. Sounds like a win/win.

    You may be onto something.

I'm easily distracted, which may also account for the frequency of the knife incidents.
The knife incidents are probably as a result of forgetting to eat your lunch.

I couldn't imagine getting distracted enough to forget to eat lunch.

I'm not as bad as I used to be. I'd get to engineering on something in the morning, eventually figure I should have some lunch, and find it was dark out, way past dinner time. It is a unique sound and feeling to have an exacto knife scrape your bone. I also had occasion to discover that my circadian rhythm was right at 28 hours.

This looks like it is going to turn into another of those "rhino quit posting, is he dead?" threads.
