If you are located in NE Indiana, please consider taking an hour or two out of your schedule this evening to welcome home WW II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans at the the Ft. Wayne airport when they return home from Washington DC. If you aren't familiar with the honor flight program, check it out here: Honor Flight Northeast Indiana - HFNEI

This will be the 5th or 6th honor flight welcome home event that I have taken my 7 & 10 year old boys to - it's a great way to show your appreciation and respect to the men & women who served this great nation.

IIRC, the plane usually gets back around 8:30pm. There is a Facebook page associated with the honor flight & they do a great job of updating it throughout the day. If you can make it, park in the long term lot - you can leave through the gate marked "honor flight" for no charge.

Definitely worth 2 hours of your day!
