Ok I need my hand slapped. I lost the only key to the soda machine at our range. I have ordered a new lock and key set and it should arrive by Friday. My question is have any of you guys had to pop the lock on one of these machines? I have watched a you tube video several times and they make it look easy. They use a screw and a dent puller (slide hammer) to bust out the old lock. Is this the best option?

Just drill it. It will fall apart. Many many years ago I worked in a arcade and the little heathens used to break stuff off in the locks all the time. Or you can pay a locksmith to pick it. When you get the new lock it will most likely have a number on it. Right it down and you can get a key cut from that number in the future.
