hehe My mom has a whole collection of vinyl, too. We actually considered getting her a new record player this year for Christmas. There's one that will digitally transcribe the albums so you can burn them to a cd or whatever. Considering some of her albums are worth several hundred dollars (she's a big Don McLean fan... growing up, if we ever had a fire in the mobile home we lived in, we were instructed to forget the cat and save her DM albums), having them on CD so she doesn't run the risk of scratching them when she plays them would be a good thing.
