I'm trying to help my mom re-arrange her bedroom and she wants to move the TV. Or course the cable TV outlet has been in the same spot since the built the house 30 years or so ago, and of course she wants the TV in a different place now.

SOOOO short of using a Roku, does anyone have experience with any kind of wireless transmitter / receiver that could be used so we don't have to run a long cable, or install a new outlet?

If she has Uverse or I think comcast has them now too.... they have wireless cable boxes. This was a life saver when I was putting a TV in a new room that didnt have an outlet.

It's time Warner or I guess spectrum now. She already asked if they have wireless boxes and she was told they don't. I'll look into the wireless HDMI. I know the box has an HDMI output.
