It tends to put everyone on a somewhat-even playing field. Feeds into the sociopathic and narcissistic attitudes, instant gratification. Anyone out there can show up live on the internet, any time, and do whatever they want... knowing it'll be seen by thousands or millions. Once it's there, it's nearly impossible to remove.

That's a huge draw to people like this.

I hate this man. I hate how awful it felt to see him kill that old man for no legit reason. Disgusting, and I can't wait until he gets his. I hope he fails to cowardly take himself out when they close in. Want him to suffer long.
