At 81 Burt is no longer that young thing that drove women crazy. Unfortunately age (assuming the luck of getting there) has a habit of doing rude things to our bodies.

Oh hell, he had one heck of a run, no reason to be old and still look good, run hard and be worn out that way you can look back and know you made the best of it.

Just watched Smokey and the Bandit last week. Burt was on Johnny Carson reruns earlier this month and looked in much better shape.

While not a great actor seemed like a fun guy to hang out with.
