Vacation Foot wear

So my wife nixed the idea wearing my everyday boots on vacation. We are going to be doing a lot of walking in hot weather. So I would appreciate some suggestions on sandals you have good luck with. My usual go to used to be Keens until the last two pairs fell apart in less than 6 months.

My Columbia sandals from Dicks lasted about 5 years with almost dailey summer wear.

If I must wear footwear on vacation, it's typically a pair of Sanuk Sidewalk Surfers.

Are you hitting a beach? Definitely some sort of sandal. Flip flop style if walking on sand or you'll rub raw.

If doing real walking, trail running shoes. You can exercise in them but still good support

I have had good luck with sandals from Sanuk. They were around 25 bucks I think and have been very good to me for about 5 years now.

I wear Keen Newports almost every day at work from about April 1 until at least October. I have never had any issue with them falling apart. I also wear them to kayak and hike out west in if we are doing a canyon hike involving water. I have zero issues with Keen.
