The catcher must tag the runner either with the ball, or his glove with the ball in it.

That catcher was like, "AH, Gotcha...huh? where he go?"

Well. Maybe not. Here's another view from a different angle. Looks like his foot could possibly have hit the glove but doubtful.

ETA, having watched several times, I don't think his foot hit Molina's glove.

Tag rules are the same. Touching the base while in possession of the ball in a force play would be an out.

Of course in this case force out wasn't available at home plate because the runner wasn't "forced" to advance to home plate.
