    Taking a look at a couple WW2 bunkers, now well hidden in the Norman countryside.
    They are partially buried with thick vegetation on almost all sides.Dirt and grass covering the roofs.

    You can still see the print of the wood grain on the concrete wall.
    Planks of wood were used to mold the concrete.

    As always sylvain thank you for posting this stuff....My grandfather never got any further than Italy after Sicily and North Africa....It's amazing how quick nature takes over....

    Many never even made it to the beach. :patriot:

    A look inside.

    The steel frames of the doors are now gone.
    You can see were the telephone lines and the phones used to be on the wall.
