    Yep, it's a hawk. I have lots of them around here. They keep the bunny and squirrels population in check around here.

    Not a Cooper's Hawk. It's an adult Red-Tailed hawk.

    Red-Tailed Hawks can be pretty variable in appearance and in size, but a brown head and back with a mostly light (sometimes with a band that looks like it's wearing a vest) breast is indicative.
