I spotted this guy on the beach today.
I snapped a few pictures to share with the group.

It has fallen upside down on the beach and is still mostly in one piece which is quite amazing.
There are lots of pieces of reinforced concrete and bent steel beams all around, scattered in a large area, so I assume other bunkers fell as well.
But it's hard to tell what they used to look like when they were on the top of the cliff some 75 years ago.

This one landed perfectly flat on its roof so it's easy to visit.I've seen other fallen ones that are stuck at weird angle on their side where you have no plain surface to walk on.
It's quite weird to walk on steel beams of the ceiling.

Those bunkers have fallen due to the natural erosion of the cliff.
Some huge parts of the cliff are falling once in a while, sometimes taking coastal bunkers with them.

You will have a bad day if one falls on you and your beach towel.

Part of the cliff recently collapsed as you can tell by the really white color compared to the rest of the cliff.
    Huge blocks of chalk everywhere.
If you only know chalk from school and what teachers use to write on blackboard you don't imagine that a huge block of chalk can crush you.Especially falling from 100 feet.

Handsome guy climbing them to show scale.

A teacher could last a while with a piece of chalk this size!

Another bunker is still standing on the top of the cliff. Now very close to the edge.
Maybe it will fall in a few years.

You can see a guard rail now suspended in the air.
That shows you where the ground used to be on the top of the cliff and how far back the cliff moved over the years.

There is a trail on the edge of the cliff that has to be moved a few feet every few years.

The bunker as entrance on either side.

One room fully enclosed in the middle, and a second room with a large opening for observation.

Not much to see inside, just a small dark room.

Some water inside (on the ceiling, or the floor depending on how you see things).
