Well, here's the thing. when I had my beard, I used it to cover my superfluous chins. In that regard, it made me more desirable.

I have since lost the extra chins. That has made me even more desirable.

So, if you need face or neck camouflage, yeah, it may help.

    Like this guy:

Don't tell me he wouldn't be even uglier without the beard.

How do we know men with beards are more desirable?

They don't hesitate to say so.

Having a beard was cool when it wasn't a fad, now that it is and everyone has one it just shows people cannot think for themselves and follow trends.

    Be a leader...

Never had one, never had the desire. Other than when ill, I have shaved every morning since I was 18. Never impressed by guys with "duck dynasty" beards. Any of us could do that if we wanted to.

I've had a light beard for most of the past 44 years. I usually keep it around 1/2 inch long, with a 1 inch beard pretty radical for me. And, no, there are quite a few guys who just can't seem to get a decent face full of fur.

*raises hand* Actually I've never tried to grow a beard because it seems like it would come in patchy. Mine gets irritating by the end of the day anyhow. By morning it's coming off again. I even go down to the lakeshore and shave when we go camping. I did have a good 'stache for about 25 years though. Dressed up as a clown for Halloween one year and shaved it off (unlike Caesar Romero in his Joker role) and never tried to grow it back.

I don't necessarily like having a beard, but I hate shaving. Thus never having to shave and my laziness means I have a beard.

That being said with my beard and my soon to get romper, I'll be having to fight the ladies off.
