I recently acquired a 2011 Camaro that has factory hood and trunk lid decals similar to the late '60's Chevy SS's. The decals are a darker shade of grey ( almost black ). I would prefer to have white decals as I think they will go better with the Synergy Green factory paint.
I hoping to find someone who can recommend either a body shop or someone who specializes in decal removal and application of the replacement. I think the decals might still be available from GM but not certain of that. The next solution would be an aftermarket set of decals and lastly, custom cut decals. A recommendation from folks with personal experience would really be appreciated. I've considered removing the existing decals and actually have the white sprayed on but that will make the change permanent and I'd prefer not to go that route.
So. . . . . . . . . Any suggestions for someone to perform this type of work ? I live in the Indianapolis area and, obviously, would like to not have to travel too far. Guess it will depend on who can follow thru with the best work and, secondly, the price.
