    My money is on, "A retiree's 1975 Lincoln Town Car backfired and they locked down the base. Same thing at Travis AFB last week.

    how many times have we seen sheep go full stupid over nothing!? If someone isn't shooting people then there is no active shooter you idiots.

    I hear what you're saying TT. I was active duty from 1986-2007. Ground burst simulators, smoke grenades, sirens going off day and night. I was on a base that had a ground combat training school for Air Force Cops and some of the other specialties who deploy with the Cops. There were times when I was an OPFOR (Opposing Force, MILES gear, M4 with all the blanks I could carry and no rules) volunteer we'd be in a fire-fight 50 yards behind the Shoppette (big on-base convenience store). Note that wasn't in South Korea, that was in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

    I'm not sure what has happened since 22 May 2007, but I don't like it.
