    Soooo, a BULL SHARK was caught in Lake Tippecanoe. :runaway:

    That's the good news! The bad news...Indiana Fish and Wildlife determined it was a female...and it has probably given birth to 5ish babies. :runaway:

    And so now we have a July 4th weekend beach warning for the lake, because bull sharks prefer to feed in shallow water. :runaway:

    Wait. I call BS.

    I do know that some sharks can survive in fresh water, but there's a whole lot of this that doesn't really add up.

    Got taken. That does not happen often. I believed it because I know it's entirely plausable. Sharks have been found ridiculously far up stream of the ocean. Grrrr. Oh well.

    This same story (except the first part was changed to a lake in Kentucky) with the same picture made rounds on FB sent to a friend that lives here but is from KY.

    There was also a story 2 days ago about a pair of Great Whites in the Mississippi River by ST Louis. I call BS on that one too
