Never know. I just had to get rid of one of my hens because she started crowin like a rooster every morning at 5am. Guess she decided to self identity as her male counterpart

I don't. The mammals come clearly identified. The birds, reptiles, and amphibians are a bit more difficult. But, the one laying eggs is the girl.

I any cause, I'm not "gendering" (as if that is even a verb). I simply acknowledge the gender they were born (technically, conceived) with.

I think you are talking about "sex" instead of "gender". The "sex" of an animal refers to it's biological markers (chromosomes, organs, etc). The "gender" of an animal refers to it's desire to have hurt feelings and scream bloody murder at imagined outrages. They are close, so I can see how you got confused.

How to determine the sex of a turtle:

    1. Place turtle on its back.
    2. Examine the underside of the turtle carefully.
    3. Place the turtle back in its feet.
    4. Follow turtle to gas station.
    5. Observe which bathroom key the turtle requests from the attendant.

We rescued 2 cats at a very young age. A boy and a girl we were told. We bottle fed them every couple of hours and named them brother and sister. One day sister was taking a bath on the couch and I realized she had a penis. 13 years later, he still goes by the name sister.

Did you just assume I identify as white, male, typical, and capable of making mistakes?

I like this game. We should play "pretend" more often. Its fun.

Hey, I said it's a typical white male mistake, I didn't say that you were white, male, or typical.

But I would put money on the fact that I got one out of the three correct.
