I'll give the original Halloween another vote. I watched it with my kids when they were 7 and 8. I viewed it as a teachable moment. The lesson?

Kids who drink beer and have sex, are thousands of times more likely to be killed by a knife wielding maniac than good kids who babysit and protect small children.

Oh, and that handgun rounds are insufficient for stopping determined attackers.
