Well, let's see.
Indiana's winters generally mimic the summers as far as precipitation is concerned.
I've heard it related in the past that 1" of rain roughly equates to 10" of snow.
This year, in my local, it seems like we have had rains of biblical proportions.
If the trend continues in to the winter, I predict we'll have about 47 FEET of snow!
I predict we will constantly have snow on the ground...until Dec. 23rd. Rain from 12/23-12/25. It will then snow again on Dec. 26th and stay until April.
