I'll just be glad when it's all over.

I am making desserts for family tomorrow and have much left to do, but I believe I'm over the worst part. I have the spiced pumpkin cheesecake in the oven now. The Mexican rice pudding is in the fridge. Now all I have left to do is make the flan, peanut butter cookies, candied pecans (thanks BBI), turtles with pecans and walnuts, and I might be forgetting something else.

Oh yeah, and finish wrapping stuff.

Christmas and I have a kindof love/hate relationship. I love making other folks happy. I hate all the work that needs doin'.

That's why God made bourbon!

It's almost 5AM. I'm still working on the darned peanut butter cookies. The spiced pumpkin cheesecake may(?) be ruined, I won't know until tomorrow. The rice pudding may be too thick. We shall see. I won't know about the flan until tomorrow.

I haven't even started on the turtles. To heck with 'em. I can make 'em some other time.
