Hopefully this year we can keep this thread for NASCAR enthusiasts. PLEASE

If you feel you must to complain about the sport overall, it's not the good old days, not the same since old number 3, no fans in the seats, etc. please let me know and I'll help you start your own thread to gripe about it. :)

    Thank you

If it aint sand, it aint Daytona tell you what.

I'm looking forward to watching this year. Seems like a good activity to do with the newborn that is due soon after the season starts.

I've been counting down the days since Homestead. Cheering on #9, hopefully Chase gets his first win this year and the Brickyard or Kentucky so I can see it, if not sooner.

I like Chase a lot. Also other young guys Larson and Blaney.

I was a huge Mark Martin fan growing up, and I could never really settle on a new driver after he retired until Chase came along. He seems to have about the same attitude of not blaming other people unless it was clearly their fault. (cough cough Denny Hamlin cough) Even with that incident he didn't whine around about it.

I still like Racing in all forms. Heck I like swamp buggy racing. And I still want NASCAR to succeed. I want open wheel (Indy) to succeed as well.
I have long time friends that are deeply involved in both.

I still like napcar...I mean NASCAR. I am just struggling to find a driver that I actually like. All the old guys are either retired or just running other cars.
All racing is good racing but some forms are better than others

So I am catching up and just read that Panicka is no longer with Stewert Haas racing.
I need to get out more...:):

When GoDaddy announced they were changing their advertising strategy I knew it wouldn't be long. She was profitable from a specialized sponsorship, not from performance.

Matt Kenseth not getting a ride in 2018 is even more shocking than that.

I totally understand Panicka being let go as she had top shelf equipment and ran 15th and higher. I was never convinced she could run up front constantly and she proved that.
    But Kenseth...???
