Airguns have left the Red Ryder in the dust. Check out the one below.

"The Texan is the world's most powerful production air rifle. It's a revolutionary gun ready to bridge the gap between traditional firearms and high powered air rifles, forever destroying the perception that "it's just an airgun." The AirForce Texan delivers a .45 caliber lead bullet at speeds up to 1,000 fps and can obtain over 500 ft-lbs of energy."

Powerful air guns are tricky as they can time travel.

There have always been powerful air rifles. It is unfortunate that somewhere along the way they were treated as toys for which the Four Rules do not apply.

I have a .22 caliber spring-piston pellet gun that will bury a pellet 1/2" deep in a 2x4. Tell me that won't do some damage in the wrong area of the body.

I hope someone broke out the phone and called 911. Hospital is a long ways off in a buggy. Is she doing any better today?

The convenience factor for PCPs today is the aluminum scuba tank to refill from.
