    This seems a little strange to me....any chance a missle may have been inbound, taken out and covered up? Our Government couldn't cover that up, could they?

    Why would they cover it up? If they can destroy an ICBM from North Korea before it reached its target they would be bragging about it.
    Trump would have tweeted "Nice try Rocket Man" already.

    That was my thinking as well, seems we just need a reason and that would have been it. I am sure it probably was a mistake. Will be interesting to see what caused it. Bet there is a bunch of soiled pants in Hawaii.

    Maybe someone just sent the "this is not a drill" message instead of the "this is a drill message" by mistake.
    Or it was done intentionaly by someone who has access to the warning system, or possibly hacked from someone from the outside. :dunno:

    Better get a false alarm when there's no threat than no warning at all when there is a real threat.
