The wife and I might head out there sometime. Her aunt works in at the buffet there and she swears it's the best this side of Chicago.

But before we go, I'll need to figure out the carry laws there.

Article in the local paper about declining casino revenues here in southern Indiana, sounds like that's not a problem up north.

My guess would be that since the property is Indian owned it is part of their 'nation.'
As such, a no carry area.

Having said that my son and I are going to go next month sometime. The buffet sounds great.

My wife went last night. says its not so good. The only thing there are slots (which was announced) but thought there was going to be video poker and roulette. There wasnt.
She was also stuck in traffic for about 30 mins waiting to get in. Im sure the traffic problem won't be the case forever, but overall she was disappointed.
I'll definitely go to check out the food, but have zero interest in wasting my money on slots

Article in the local paper about declining casino revenues here in southern Indiana, sounds like that's not a problem up north.

According to the South Bend Tribune (Jan 14) when Four Winds of New Buffalo opened in 2007, Blue Chip in Michigan City took a $50,000,000 revenue hit the first year and annual revenue has since dropped for Blue Chip from $267,000,000 in 2007 to $159,000,000 in 2017. Since opening New Buffalo, Four Winds has opened satellite casinos in Hartford, MI., Dowagiac, MI., and now South Bend. Indiana's other 13 commercial casinos pay from 15%-40% of revenue in taxes to the Indiana Gaming Commission, Four Winds South Bend will pay 2% to South Bend with a promise to contribute more to the community chest...............
