Sounds like a convoluted mess. Starting in apartment complex, then a foot chase, then a car chase on I-65? Just watching the story on WTHR now. It does sound like the lockdown has been lifted though. Prayers for the officer and his friends and family. :(

Live on the radio now, the deputy will not survive, but as an organ donor will help others live on.

    Prayers for all involved.

    :( Damnit :(

My wife teaches at one of the schools that was on lockdown. They had the students and teachers hiding out of sight in all the classrooms all morning.

This was Jake Pickett a super nice guy and a canine handler. I took a class alongside him at Boone County not long after he started there. This makes me very sad and very angry. I am especially sad for his wife and children
