Sunday sales. I will be patronizing my local alcohol distributor tomorrow. In show of support. Sunny high of 58. Good enough for some Dragons Milk and outside work.

I've lived in Indiana (again) for over 10 years. When I left for the USAF in 1986 I ended up stationed in Georgia. In Georgia at Midnight on Sunday morning alcohol sales stopped. Georgia got Sunday sales in 2011. On military base you can buy beer on Sunday. I was also stationed in: Iceland, Florida, South Korea, Kansas, Iceland (again), North Carolina, Florida (again) and Virginia. These States and countries had Sunday sales and somehow we survived. Alcohol sales returned to the Indiana State Fair recently after 69 YEARS because a bunch of WWII Vets left beer bottles all over the place in 1946.
We still can't buy cold beer in a convenience store because to work in a liquor store in Indiana you have to have post-graduate level work... bull ****ing ****!!

Hit up Big Red and got me some more Makers. It was busy.

Then we went to Kroger. It was funny seeing people walk out with there alcohol, all giddy with ear to ear smiles.

I should have probably picked up a case but forgot until seeing this thread, before I got around to a it I talked to a friend who said he just stopped to buy some so "he could be apart of it." It'll relieve some hassle thats for sure.

I went to a Big Red today and they were pretty busy.

Got a 4 pack of Fat Heads Hop Ju Ju

Didn't need it but as others said, wanted to just to do it

No bourbon for me, nothing special was held back that I saw just for today

We did our part. Made a point of going out to buy a bottle of Indiana whiskey, a bottle of wine, and a mixed pack of six beers.

The stories I could tell about my times with the "Silver Bullet"........Liquid courage right there.

Only thing crazier than that is Lititle Kings. Do they even sell them anymore?
I'm pretty sure little kings went out of business when I graduated high school.
