Fishing season and new line thoughts

Well, another fishing season is here. Who here puts on new line every year? Also type?? Thoughts???
I used braided so I tend not to change mine unless I have been fishing heavy cover or surfaces where the fish can abrade my line.

I was just thinking this, I don't usually put on new line since I use braided as well. If it starts to feel rough or I see stretch points/nicks then I change it out.
