I miss carrying my SA 1911.

So two options are a SA 1911 and an M&P. Tough decison, but pick a day to feel nostalgic and carry the 1911. Or go to the range and put some rounds down range with the ol'lady (the 1911).
Variety is the spice of life...especially with guns

:yesway: This is an excellent observation.

The ol'lady is really fun to shoot. The plastic gun is more of a tool.

I've gotten real comfortable with this gal. It's easy to carry, the holster likely helps. Fits well in my hand too.

Good choice, but then I may be biased :D

If you run a back up mag for your EDC do you know that the C's can take a full size mag? **edit - at least the 9mm can, I don't have a .45 to verify** I have a full size mag as my back up with a grip extension.

I don't know either. The 45c is an 8 round double stack, I've not seen a full size chassis in .45 but would be curious to know as well.

The 9C is double stack 12 round as standard, and the 17 round full size mag fits fine but extends beyond the grip. If it does fit it could be a useful back up for you.
