The last five weeks I was told to chill out and not do much till my surgery. He wanted me as strong as possible. The biggest side effect was being dizzy. With every heart squeeze 50 to 60 % was backflowing and it was apparent I had issues.

Looking back the surgery went better than expected. My recovery will be long and I'm adjusting to a spring and summer with not much getting done. Long term looks good.

During the surgery my heart did not want to start again, my clotting factors did not make sense and my groin swelling and bruising was a hit with the doctors and nurses

Very glad to hear it went as well as described. Please take heed of the instructions for recovery. Spring is a hard time not to get out and start ripping away at nature but take it easy.
