Looking for some hot spicy big red hot dogs. I’m guessing I used to get them at Marsh but not sure. I’ve tried Walmart, Kroger and Meijer but no luck. I know it’s not a big deal but I’ve been craving a couple for a year or so. Regular hot dogs don’t cure the craving. I’ve even tried a couple of the hot dog eateries around town but no joy. I wish I knew the brand I used to buy but can’t remember that.
Many one know of any stores that sell them?

    thanks, Matt

I THINK THEY WERE STADIUM BRAND RED HOTS. I THOUGHT THEY WERE AVAILABLE AT KROGERS AND MARSH, BUT I KNOW MARSH IS OUT OF BUSINESS.

I think you are looking for Carolina style hot dogs. Red casing and spicy. Normally beef and pork combo’s.

The He western New York style hot dogs listed in the first page should taste a bit like the Carolina reds but are white in color with no smoking and veal added.

The texas reds should be close but smokier in flavor. Less spice.
