I used to use my eMap for geocaching. I'd like to do some of that again. I have a couple of more modern ones with the maps and voices, the voices in my head. They keep telling me where to go. I don't want to find out what they have planned for me...

Ok, it's ok, take a deep breath...

Anyway, I like to have the raw lat/long data instead of a pretty map when I'm wandering in the woods, and I can't remember whether I can get Chatty Cathy to come across with it.

418 reviews on Google. I had one and it was a basic GPS with no map. Replaced it with a Garmin ETrex 20 that has a topo map.

I also have the eTrex20. You can download loads of free maps and can create a track on Google Earth and download that. I've been trying to use it for kayaking in remote areas, but so far all I've done is download some maps. I've watched videos on how to use it until I'm blue in the face, guess it's smarter than me.
