    Thank you guys! :)

I hope to see some fireworks today. :rockwoot:

Bastille Day is also the day were we celebrate our friendship between France and the USA by having a ceremony held at Lafayette's grave in Paris.

There's a ceremony held both on the 4th and on the 14th of July to celebrate that hero who took part in both our revolutions.

The American flag is changed each year on the 4th of July.

It's where the famous "Lafayette, here we are!" speech was pronounced in 1917 by US troops during WW1.

One of the things I missed in France that I really wanted to see.
Maybe one day I'll decide the rewards beat the risks to leave the U.S. again

France celebrated one day late with a win over Croatia for the World Cup of Soccer. I suspect there will be a lot of wine consumed celebrating this win. Vive le France!
