Got to Ziebart today and got both cars cleaned up (yearly thing).
I need to take pics when the top is down (looks like a different car: take some pics tomorrow).
I'm always making reference to my roadster.
I've had it 8 yrs. and drive it through the winter with snow tires and a hardtop (I'll include a hardtop pic).
Model year: 2004
Bought in April of 2010.
Only 008975 miles on it!!! (yes, you read it right)
82,000 miles on it now.
I always liked the look of the S2000. I used to like the Miata look as well. Still do but there are too many of them. I had a Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio for 13 years. The nice thing was they weren't too common here. At least not in the 2000's.

    1. I waited 20 yrs. to get a Miata (I rented one once, and said: some day).
    2. In April of 2010 I researched and had a list of 16 Miatas to possible buy (only one, ha!)
    3. I ended up with the S2000 instead b/c I listened to what someone said and followed his advice who knew everything about cars and owned everything: literally.
    4. I'm poor, but since I'm educated, I have friends that are not.

Nice car. I had a gen 2 Miata. Okay, but too slow. I would have liked a S2000 better but they were out of my price range at the time.

Now, I'm looking to old school V8 muscle for a possible "retirement" vehicle.:)

Your's is really nice looking. And no, you should not put black wheels on it. It would totally ruin the look.

    1. W/O going "old" (I've been there and done that, and trust me: money pits), the 6 cylinder Mustangs are really fun.
    2. I friend in my car club (S2KCA) got tired of the S2000 and bought one (a 'vert, of course) and he kept coming to our driving events in it (as did others with Miatas or other cool cars).

Yeah, I know but I couldn't think of a more satisfying "pit" than a car. I have gasoline in my blood. Been a car guy all my life. I have forgotten more about cars than I will ever know about guns! Model cars as a kid, ASE Master Mechanic, drag racer, went to school for automotive, been in automotive all my life. Still in automotive.

It's not just been a hobby for me but a way of life and a living.

I will always love cars just like I did when I was a child. I'll never get tired of smoking tires!:):

Excellent, I always wanted an S2000!

When I finally got to sit in one the top of the windshield lined up with my eye brows and I gave up the dream.

I have. I own a 2011 V6 Mustang, and it is a fun little car.

So are midget prostitutes, but you don’t see people bragging about anything but the 1/2 price discount.;) 8 cylinders, and full sized prostitutes for the win!

Very cool. I always likes these cars and was surprised to see Honda kill them off. I guess the price was too high or consumers hadn't adjusted to the new fads in automobiles. I wish Honda made more fun cars for the average guy. 100k NSX wasn't the way to go.

    1. There were some NSX cars in the club and they would go on drives with the S2000 (many guys had all kinds of other cars).
    2. This car is a "twisties" car, not a 0 to 60 mph car: to me it really needed more torque and horsepower which is why many put in superchargers or turbos, or at least put in a 4.77 or 4.56 rear end (some did both approaches).
    3. I almost put in a 4.77 rear end, but didn't. If I could have driven one to be sure (kind of like if I could shoot a CZ with the upgrades ($300 plus labor) to see if it would change my life any).

Oh, S2000, those seats are sweet. Street rod/muscle car guys usually have S2000 seats at the top of the list to replace their factory seats.

    Nice ride.

    1. Yes, and stolen seats is a problem in certain parts of the country.
    2. A friend who has owned a few 'vetts has the 07 now and his seat are the upgraded really sensational ones.
