I may have a big announcement sometime in the future and wanted to keep a post from July 24 ready to edit to make it look like I announced it on July 24. This is the post. I can only edit my own comments so please don’t post in this thread or it will ruin everything. Thanks.

The issue is that something may happen in the future that I wanted to make an announcement about on the 24th. Now I can’t do that because everyone posted and it will be obvious now. I have lost all motivation to ever try to do anything neat again.

Neat. Definitely an underused word.

Few observations:
- Even if you'd been able to follow through on your plan, there would be a tag at the bottom of the post showing that you edited it.
- There's only a certain amount of time that you can edit a post (although I think you could've been within that timeframe).
- Asking all of INGO to do a single thing is an exercise in futility.

Regardless, I think that neat thing that you had planned was totally rad.
