Posted the video in the "Are you kidding me" thread, it's... pretty shocking. They're saying 4 dead, and telling EVERYONE to stay away

The shooting was caught live on Twitch stream... thankfully the camera went off right before. Though you do see the laser on one of the kid's chest.

Edit: Sheriff's office says 1 suspect is dead at the scene.

Took about 5 minutes post-shooting to see jokes about it online.

Took about 10 minutes post-shooting to see calls for gun-control online.

Wow. That long? I would have assumed the two times listed would have been flipped.

For the sake of the parents, I'm glad they turned off the live video right before it happened... no one would want to watch their kids shot to death like that.

Though, regardless... seeing them happy one second before it began is going to be heart-wrenching.

It'd be nice if the news channel supposedly "on our side" had anchors NOT spouting the anti-gunner talking points. :xmad:

"America has to do something about this gun violence." :xmad:

Seeing as it was another player, I'm guessing the "video games cause violence" will be the route they take... along with toxic masculinity or something... (even though this was a non-violent game.)

    Non-Violent Video Game...........

Even since the beginning of games, I didn't know they ever made any of those. :dunno:

I've been told the Last few years how violent football is...

I'll agree that it is. I don't see what the problem is, as long as everybody fully understands the risks before playing.

Isn't there a difference between teaching someone to be violent and teaching someone how to survive a violent encounter? I think there is, even though both scenarios can look awfully alike to the uninitiated.

We don't really know how much we can endure until we've been somewhat tested. Football (athletics, in general I think) is a good way to experience this.

I am waiting to hear how old the shooter was, whether they were carrying legally, how he got the gun, what type of gun, etc. I also wonder if there was a “no guns” sign on the door although in Florida that carries no force of law.

This one could go any number of ways in the media from here.

I am waiting to hear how old the shooter was, if they still lived in their parent's basement, whether they were carrying legally, how he got the gun, what type of gun, etc. I also wonder if there was a “no guns” sign on the door although in Florida that carries no force of law.

FIFY to add a gamer stereotype.
