Sitting here at my dad's house, next to my dad, as he loses his battle with end-stage COPD and end-stage renal failure.

Hospice nurse thinks it'll be today or tomorrow.

He called me yesterday evening to tell me bye and that he loved me. I am thankful he was able to make that call.

    I'm sad.

If you're able, call your parents and tell them you love them. Call them to hear their voice/s one more time. Take nothing for granted.

Sorry to hear of your situation...one that we all face at some point and will never be fully ready for. Prayers sent for comfort and healing for you and your family.

Sorry for your loss. I have been going through similar problems with both my mom and dad and my father-in-law all at the same time. We sometimes take the good times for granted until they are gone. You and your family are in my prayers.
