I am pre-diabetic. My father is diabetic. I was looking online for a much healthier low carb potato option and I found it: carisma potatos!
They are originally grown in the Netherlands and have been brought to North America by the Canadians. From what I have read some of the Canadian companies have invested in farms down in the southern US.
However, as much as I read about them and research them I cannot find anywhere to buy them. Fresh Thyme? Nada. Whole Foods in Mishawaka? Nyet. Fort Wayne Co-op? Nein.
I know they are a niche market but am hoping someone on here has a similar interest in a much lower carb count potato that might have seen 'em.
Thanks,
Doug
I meant NW Ohio. Oops.
