I broke my wife's KitchenAid mixer using the meat grinder attachment yesterday. Oops. Time to buy a meat grinder. Anyone have experience with the Excalibur brand grinders? I love the dehydrator I have from them. Searching for reviews is only turning up Weston grinders. They look different.

I also have to buy a new mixer (that is already done).

    Sigh.

    Thanks!

I used my kitchen aid yesterday with meat grinder for the 1st time. Worked well on my two doe. What happened to yours out of curiosity?

The last batch of meat I don't think I cut small enough and overs stressed the gears. Now not spinning smooth and sounding weird.

Have done 3 deer w the attachment. Just pushed too hard. Dumb.
