meat grinders -- excalibur?

I broke my wife's KitchenAid mixer using the meat grinder attachment yesterday. Oops. Time to buy a meat grinder. Anyone have experience with the Excalibur brand grinders? I love the dehydrator I have from them. Searching for reviews is only turning up Weston grinders. They look different.

I also have to buy a new mixer (that is already done).

Cabelas has some good quality grinders but better prices can be found googling butchers supplies.

KitchenAid does do repairs and has blems and repaired machines for sale.

I will call tomorrow on repair option. Looked at refurb but none available. Black Friday sale let us upgrade. Should be able to cancel orderif fix is easy. I have not had time to tear it apart

The last batch of meat I don't think I cut small enough and overs stressed the gears. Now not spinning smooth and sounding weird.

Have done 3 deer w the attachment. Just pushed too hard. Dumb.
