Is 465 on the south side clear or is there construction/problems?

Taking my SBR to get engraved tomorrow. Coming from Richmond and was planning on 70 to 465 then around the south to 70 again. Is there anything along that route that will cause problems or would it be better to take 70 straight through? I don't get to Indy often so I'm not sure what the roads are like anymore. I'm hoping to miss most of the traffic, maybe some around lunch.

To my knowledge you should only run into the usual bad traffic here in Indy. 465 on the south side was repaired earlier this Fall. The bridges on 65 were repaired earlier this year. What time are you looking at hitting the Marion County line/getting the hell out of Dodge?

If it were me, I'd take 70 all the way through town. Both options are hit or miss, but you're not coming during rush hour so you should be fine.

Run it through Google Maps before you leave, and follow what it tells you. In my experience, when I don't follow Google maps suggestions for detours or route changes, I pay for it!

Probably leaving Richmond around 10 I guess, I'm supposed to be in Clayton at 1pm. I thought they were doing some stuff but wasn't sure if it was done or not.

Barring any unforeseen disasters, take 70 all the way and you'll be in Plainfield at 1130. If you're across Indy and in Hancock County by 1500 you're cruisin no problem.

For the last couple of days, I-65 at Southport Rd has been down to one lane in each direction. Don't know if it ever backed up enough to impact 465 traffic. North bound entrance ramps at Southport Rd are closed. I'd like to think whatever they're doing will be done by rush hour tomorrow morning. If not, it will be a most circular jerk.
