    Safe. :yesway:

Our local Christmas market is not open yet ...

Suspect is still on the run, they are looking for him all over France and in Germany as well.

"Strasbourg shooting: Gunman shouted 'Allahu Akbar' as he attacked. . .
The man, named by local media as Chérif Chekatt, was known to authorities as having been radicalised in prison.

The 29-year-old was armed with a gun and a knife and escaped the area in a taxi, Mr Heitz said.

The attacker boasted to the driver - who has spoken to police - that he had killed 10 people, and said he had been injured in a firefight with soldiers."

Je pense que Sylvain était facétieux... ;)

    Oui, bien évidemment.
Obviously it was sarcasm ... I don't think the NRA is to blame for mass shooting events in the US (terrorism related or not ...).
It's just something you hear from anti-gun folks after mass shootings in the US.

They are now reporting that he used a handgun and a knife, not an automatic weapon like previously reported.

The suspect has been convicted of crimes 27 times ... so no way he bought the handgun legally.

Good thing we have tough gun laws and need a note from a physician to buy a firearm so that crazy folks can't get access to guns.

It's the thought that counts. And the thought is the law is not really for foreigners or gangsters, it's "Keep guns out of the hands of actual law abiding citizens so they don't go all le 14 Juillet on us when they get fed up with being screwed for being law-abiding." See "gilets jaunes."

Absolutely. That’s why French LEO went to confront demonstrators only wearing a banana hammock (they’re French after all).
And the wounds were merely scratches.

And for the whatever time, law abiding citizens can own guns in France. Yes, it’s a long process, but it’s not Germany either.

And no, criminals will never care about laws. That’s a fact, can we move on now?

Anyway, scumbag down. Until the next one(s).
