    Really awesome to think a man made object has reached that far out in to space. I remember the launches for both Voyager spacecrafts. Both are still able to send back data. All with mid 70's technology.

    How long will it stay powered off the panels. As it goes deeper into dark space when will we loose it.

    From what I have read it will be around 300 years before the spacecraft pass by the next detectable object. The spacecrafts batteries are projected to fail 2025-2030 range.

    I believe the Voyagers were powered by "nuclear" batteries.

    Directly converts decay heat into electricity.

    What is the connection between Voyager and relatively recent legal developments (like Heller, McDonald) with the 2nd Amendment?
