668, the neighbor of the beast

    686...the slayer of the beasts...In 4 or 6 inch.....:)

I cross an X over every black cat that crosses in front of me.
I do not walk under ladders.
If I give someone a knife as a gift I ask for a penny in return.
When entering a woods I put a small coin in the first hollow tree I come across....
All the men in my family do it. I asked Oak River about it and he said it's a British Isles thing...I am 100 percent British Isles DNA according to Ancestry so that makes sense....It's a trespassing/toll fee to the wood sprites and fairies I am told....

I don’t really believe in any of them, but I do follow the knife/penny thing... unless I’m trying to sever ties with the person. :)

I pick up pennies when I find them. That's not so much superstition, I'm just really cheap.

Never get a hair cut, shave or trim your nails on the same day (or day before) your favorite sports team plays a game.

    And no, I'm not kidding.

Generally, I don't believe in such things, but I have the annoying tendency to believe that my actions somehow affect the outcome of sporting events that I am merely watching.

Working construction, Never ever call Mama and tell her you think you're getting rained out... You'll end up having to work in the rain. Don't even think your getting to go home or it won't happen

I used to play baseball growing up...never ever step on a base line when going onto or off the field. On game day follow your routine every game. If you find you are on a hot streak..respect iy and do exactly what you have done and continue following the routine right down to eating the same food you have to respect the streak.
When playing cards never touch the cards dealt to you until all have been dealt.

I am not superstitious but, in the late sixties my aunt would take me to watch my uncle race stock cars. I wasn't allowed to wear anything green,.

My only superstitions have to do with how I can affect the outcome of sporting events based on my behavior. I know it’s complete BS, but I still have superstitions when I watch a Colts or Pacers game.
