    On Saturday February 9th, there will be at least three testing sessions for the FCC Amateur Radio licenses.

    8:45AM - Crossroads of America Boy Scout HQ - FREE - Register at http://wd9bsa.org under the licensing tab.

    10:00AM - Hendricks County Fairgrounds at the Hendricks County Hamfest in Danville IN. FREE SESSION, Walk ins OK

    Noon - Salvation Army Building on Georgetown RD - Indianapolis Radio Club - This is not a free session.

    I need to take my no respect tech license to the next level one of these days...

    I am in the same place as you. Took the classes for my General but decided not to take the test. Upgrading equipment to use a General would have been expensive. I did not want the temptation of selling guns to buy an HF radio, tuner and antenna, along with all the stuff needed to make it run.
