Okay guys, this incident was a few weeks ago, but I'm sharing here as a cautionary tale. We all can make mistakes, and to make a long story short, I got careless with a chainsaw and I lost a nut.

I spent a weekend helping with my Dad out at his farm cleaning stuff up, clearing stuff out, and doing a LOT of chainsaw work. I've spent hundreds of hours on chainsaws in my lifetime, so I've got some experience under my belt, but we all make mistakes. In this case I had just eaten a gigantic lunch and was tired and a little foggy. I got the saw refueled, re-lubed, and switched chains. I must not have gotten everything back together 100%.

Pic below if you can handle it

So, I lost a nut in the woods. Looked everywhere, couldn't find it, and I was done for the day.

Thankfully Bocefus78 is a Stihl dealer/expert and was able to fix me back up when I got back into town.

Some men have nuts of stihl. But stihl, it always hurts to lose a nut.

    My condolences sir.

But at least there are some nuts that can be replaced.

Anyone here ever see "Smokin' Aces"? One of the worst movies I ever bought a ticket to....but there's some relevant chainsaw play.
